New Omni vision sensor promises improved showing front camera with 1080p video recording

OmniVision has a new sensor ready for primetime, but unlike the monster 4K2K video, which makes it not "only" 1080p and is intended for the front panel of the smartphone (or Tablet PC).

2 MP sensor is only 3 mm high so it can be used as a front camera oriented smartphones, but also thin ultrabooks. Uses pixel 1.4 micron OmniBSI technology + and has a resolution of 1932 x 1092 and size of 1 / 5. 8″.
The camera's sensor is good for 1080p @ 30 fps, which will allow self-shot videos of high quality, but may make too much 720 p @ 60 fps (James Cameron and Peter Jackson say high fps videos are the future) and that even some slow with VGA @ 120 FPS and QVGA @ 240 fps.
While this is not the first camera capable of 1080p front front (the BlackBerry guide had one, for example), no matter see high quality exposed facing cameras become commonplace.
