HTC has released the financial results of the company, and the least we can say is that the Taiwanese company is not at his best form since has recorded its lowest quarterly profit since 2006 and continues to lose market share.
HTC has published its financial results for the third quarter and the figures show a decrease of 79% of net profit , with a profit of $ 2.4 billion and net income of $ 133.2 million in the third quarter. In the second quarter of this year, HTC recorded a turnover of $ 3 billion and a net income of $ 273 million. The result is even more convincing when compared to the year 2011 for the same period as the Taiwanese company issued 4.54 billion and a net profit of $ 625 million. HTC knows so drop some due to fierce competition , mainly from Samsung and Apple ,combined with a reduction in global consumption of smartphones.
Attempt to go up the slope, HTC numerous partnerships to distinguish themselves from the competition. The manufacturer will thus Windows Phone smartphones for the holiday season ( HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S), while improving its sound values in Android (HTC One X +and One XL ). Add to that the partnership with Beats, the attempt to integrate OnLive before his retirement, and investment project Magnet Systems : HTC struggles to attract consumers.
