iPhone 5 Beats all Sales Records

Criticized for its lack of innovation, the iPhone 5 explodes for instant sales records, attractive always fans of the Apple brand.

A difficult:

Many factors could worry though Apple executives for the release of the iPhone 5 :
- First a cold reception from experts who have for the most regretted a lack of innovation from Apple.
- A difficult economic environment which has the effect of limiting the consumption of high-tech products.
- mapping software criticized, suffering still many bugs.
- And to a lesser extent, the call to strike by a minority union employees of French Apple Store.
Despite this, the iPhone 5 is able to beat sales records historical . Its beginnings were indeed sensational if one considers the numbers. So if Apple had already contacted a number of pre-orders amounting to 2 million units (cons 1 million for the iPhone 4S and "only" 600,000 for the iPhone 4), the iPhone 5 would have been sold over 5 million copies on the weekend of its release.

Far better than its predecessors:

5 million copies and greatly exceed the sales made by his predecessors on a weekend:

1 million iPhone 3GS
1.7 million iPhone 4

4 million iPhone 4S

Apple beats so its sales record for each new model, the 250 million sales being targeted for this product.
Van Baker, an analyst with research firm Gartner, warned: " This will be the biggest launch phone ever seen : they will sell millions and millions of units, whatever they are. " Indeed, some customers of the brand, did not yield to the temptation of the iPhone 4S last October and waited for the iPhone 5 to offer the latest model.
A public "digital" but not necessarily geek:
Therefore take the brand loyalty of its users. First-time buyers are indeed completely acquired the brand, 90% are already iPhone owners . And these are not just geeks: "With 60% of the population equipped smartphone, there has been a mass of logical marketization," says Michel Jumeau, marketing director of Orange mobile consumer. We also note that this population is mostly composed of men (70%) and youth (70% also) . If they are not all geeks, these buyers of the first hour, however, can be considered "digital", having a consumer Internet, e-mails, social networking and multimedia (photo, video) on their Smartphone. If they are willing to spend a large sum of money to be the first to have the brand new iPhone, they still choose packages with mobile to limit spending: "The grant is acclaimed because it is a simple and convenient way to purchase the phone without breaking the budget. "explains Philippe Schild, Director of Bouygues Telecom terminals.
Despite a challenging environment, Apple is doing very well in his exploding sales records. And you've fallen for the iPhone 5?
