BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1 now available


Tablet BlackBerry PlayBook Wi-Fi will be entitled to an update of the OS that will provide many new features practical and useful for the general public, businesses and developers.

RIM launched the BlackBerry PlayBook updated OS 2.1 exclusively for the BlackBerry PlayBook Wi-Fi This update will moult features designed to improve usability and security of the tablet:


·         Secure all data: encryption professional level can now be extended to personal data.

·         Send text message with the new version of BlackBerry Bridge 2.1, via a BlackBerry smartphone.

·         Viewing messages, contacts and calendar in portrait mode

·         Printing documents from a PC on a BlackBerry Playbook tablet thanks to Print To Go application, even if the tablet PC are on different networks

·         Ability to connect remotely to the server and the BlackBerry Mobile Fusion support for authentication faciliant certified ActiveSync deployment of tablets in the enterprise

·         Payment system " in App "extended to Android applications

The update is available now for free and free download. Users of BlackBerry PlayBook Wi-Fi will receive an automatic notification to update or access it via the tab "Update Software".
